Every country is unique in its own way. I have not traveled to legion(predicate) different countries in my adult life, but this unity I will c in all up forever. While I was not there for very coherent left a lasting imprint. Last year I got the chance to journey the Western Caribbean on a canvas with my husband and our last stop was in Cozumel, Mexico. This island is the largest of the Atlantic islands of Mexico. Cozumel is one of nine municipalities of the state of Quintana Roo. Living in the United States you do not quite get to see people livelihood in a third world country. While we were on our bus ride to an excursion we saw so many different interesting issues. We saw many styles of mopeds, which to somewhat families is the family vehicle. ofttimes times there was at least a father, mother, and perhaps unconstipated a couple of children.
While we were on the island we took an all terrain vehicle ride though some of the land and halt at a few different areas of ancient Mayan ruins and were told astir(predicate) how their temples were taken over. There were many legends that were told to us about some of their land being taken over by the Spanish people. They were coming over to look for riches in decree to support themselves and to claim lands.



In the process they took destroyed their temples and even unburied their Mayan people in order to find gold and other riches to benefit themselves. After all of their distinct and exploration their limited discovery was finding turquoise. This was not what they cute to find but valuable to the Mayan people. The Mayans originally inhabited the island of Cozumel. more excursions were made to Cozumel in order to visit the Goddess Ixchel. She was the goddess of fertility and abundance. Ixchel was married but still made it clear that she did her own thing and on nights that she did not want to be with her lover she would go out and help assist other women in their parturiency and childbirth.
