Husserl v. Heidegger
Philosophy accompanies many different views and ideas. Phenomenology is one of these many different ideas. Phenomenology content: a philosophy or method of inquiry ground on the premise that reality consists of objects and events as they are perceive or understood in military personnel consciousness, and not of anything case-by-case of human consciousness. Both Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger are followers of this theory. Although, two were colleagues and believed in the same theory they had their differences. Through this essay I allow briefly speak about their views, and then I give examine the similarities and differences in-between the two. Edmund Husserl and Martin Heidegger are German philosophers that had an seismic disturbance on 20th century philosophy. The two philosophers taught in Germany, at Freiberg. Neither one of them started their careers in the field of philosophy, but both of them switched their focus to philosophy, which Heidegger ended up working under Husserl at Freiberg (later to take over his position). Husserl started his career in science, and was a mathematician, logician, and epistemologist.
This influenced him into growth a theory that could provide accurate scientific knowledge, which is phenomenology. Husserl is considered the beat of phenomenology, which he taught to Heidegger. Heidegger started his career in theology, and was more interested in being, and issues related to fundamental ontology.
Heidegger and Husserl both agreed in the passage (or method) of the epoche, phenomenological reduction. Like Husserlian phenomenology, Heideggerian phenomenology is concerned with the life world or human experience as it is lived.
