Martin Luther is considered one of the greatest Christian minds in all of history. Martin Luther was the crack of Protestantism. To understand Luther and the impact of his life, one has to understand how Luther was nurtured. On November 10, 1483, Luther was born(p) to parents Hans and Margarethe Luther in Eisleben, Germany. Luther attended naturalise in Mansfield where he knowledgeable rhetoric, grammar, and logic. Once Luther turned seventeen, he became enrolled at the University of Erfurt. In 1505, Luther entered constabulary school upon the request of his father. One day, Luther was caught in a thunderstorm. During the storm, Luther promised to generate a monk if God would deliver him out of the storm. by and by Luther surviving the storm, he decided to leave law school and become a monk. Luther became a member of a friary and was prescribed a priest in 1507.



After becoming a priest, Luther taught theology at the University of Wittenberg. After earning several different bachs degrees, Luther finally became a doctor of Theology in 1512 (Marty 1-14). Up until this point Luthers life had been relatively normal. Luthers life would not begin to achieve significance until 1517.
As stated in his book Great Christian Thinkers, Hans Kung describes how Luther changes his life by publicly criticizing the church by nailing his 95 Theses onto the adit of the Wittenberg church (135). After this event, Luthers life was never the same.
