De Rosa

I was lucky enough to go to Philidalphia Museum of Art to do my museum project on. The artwork that I picked is The entirelychering of the Innocents by Francesco (Pacecco) De Rosa. The pictorial matter is oil on canvas, it is very big and It is originated from Italy since De Rosa is Italian. When I first walked by The Massacre of the Innocents, I couldnt help myself tho just stood there and stare. It wasnt because the flick itself was so large but It was appalling and brutal. Ive never seen it before. I just had this sorrow in my heart when I stared at what was happening to the babies. I didnt take out what the metal label said at first. I cherished to rise up up with my own theory at first. The banter that came into my head was slaughtering the innocents. When I read the title The Massacre of the Innocents, I was very pleased with my own theory. The puke frame of the characterization is gold with details of roses and vines. I honestly thought the work out of th e frame was too busy. I didnt like how it took took away alittle mission from the painting itself. I woudl like it better if the molding was untold simpler and plain. It doesnt matter if you dont understand what the artist is trying to accomplish in any artwork. To me, the brilliant artwork are the ones that make you feel.
