The photo, The Graduate was created by Charles Webb, but was directed by Mike Nichols. In this movie, Mr. Nichols selected songs of folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel. Mr. Nicholss selection was narrow-minded as he did not look at some other bands. Mr. Nichols chose to use the songs The Sound of Silence, April Come She Will, and Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme. If Mr. Nichols were making the movie today, he would have a correct selection of songs to choose from that would better express the characters feelings.

This is how the movie played out between Elaine and Ben. Elaine change[s] her tune by decision making to run away from her own wedding. In the song Parsley, Sage, Rosemary, and Thyme the artists are very dark and sad, like Ben. But the artists dont show the switch between the two worlds, the adult world and the tiddler like world.
