Obesity is Increase in body weight beyond careworn and physical standards as the result of an excessive accumulation of plump down in the body (on line dictionary.org). Americans enables fleshiness. We make it easy to pull fat and stay fat. The U.S. Department of Health and Human serve estimates that 300,000 American deaths per year are associated with oerweight and obesity. According to the Centers for malady Control and Prevention (CDC), obesity has increased dramatically in the United States. Two-thirds of Americans and at least half the people in many developed countries are now considered all overweight or obese (Zagata.1). There are three main commences of obesity in modern society today include overeating, lose of physical activities such as exercise, and medical conditions.
One cause of obesity in todays society is over eating. Many Americans are very solid paced and always on the go and dont have succession to draw a decent meal for their family so they turn to fast food for thought. Also low income families have a hard time affording healthy foods to cook.
When you have fast foods you are getting a super-sized meal with a adult oversized burger, jumbo cokes, and large fries all for a low cost. Grocery stores pass quick pre made meals. Vending-machines on everywhere we are at. With everything acquirable is it an accident on Americans becoming obese? Many energetic working families or low income families rely on take-out food for family dinners. Also, holidays play a big part of over eating. When seemliness comes around we eat so much food until we heart miserable and still after feeling that way we in some way manage to sneak back around for a uphold plate full and then still have dessert after eating all day.
