What was the greatest empire in the world? This has been a enormous standing question throughout history that can be answered in many different ways with supporting evidence. As we know, some empires were successful and some were not. But what exactly is an empire? An empire is defined as a single entity that has haughty rule and power over a vast field of battle of territory, and consists of people of different ethnicities and nationalities. I believe that the roman type empire was the greatest empire in world history, factoring in military, economics, politics, religion, and social influences.
