Why is it that I am portrayed as the sinner, a sinner who has committed a sin greater than ever so in this known functioning world? I am no different than any one of the people nutriment under this puritan Society and I know for a fact, that we all told share something in common; we are all guilty for our everyday sins. In what maternal universe, would I CHOSE to separate myself when I have the appreciate of my world, Pearl by my side. Being punished by the Puritan Society, I did not want my own daughter to brass the cruelty and scorn as I had. Because of the Puritan Society, my life had changed and my child, Pearl, was never able to have a normal childhood. Because of them!, I was pushed to face the menacing and repulsive human nature.
