The Earths radiation balance is comprised of 2 factors. First is the energy flowing process of the Earths constant acculturation of solar shortwave radiation emitted from the sun. These forces are basically equal, and both flow in a consistent manner. Because of this fact the Earths overall temperature is also constant and relatively consistent.
