The innovation of this newspaper publisher is to attempt to illustrate the mission and purpose of SODAT of New Jersey Inc. SODATs mission is to reduce the disease of addiction by reaching out to the communities in dish uping the population, strengthening families, and educating juvenility and the prevention and intervention of the use of inebriant and drugs. SODATs purpose is to make life better for the population of South Jersey.
service to Overcome Drug Abuse Among Teens of New Jersey, Inc. (SODAT) was established in Gloucester County in 1969 as a nonprofit agency staffed by professional substance shame counselors. For over thirty years, SODAT has been in operation and has struggled through many crises. Initially, SODAT was established to treat youths; however, they straightway treat people of all ages for drug and alcohol abuse. SODAT operates beneath the auspices of the New Jersey Department of Human Services, fragment of Addiction Services; also SODAT is reviewed on a federal level due to the population of federal offenders as clients in the program.
The organization is pleased to say they are a part of the United Way Agency in Burlington, Gloucester and Salem Counties. ii national awards were given to SOADT in tribute of their pioneering substance abuse prevention programs; the honors received were the United States Department of Education allocate for Excellence and the United States Secretary of State Award for bully Program. SODAT of New Jersey Inc. is a non-profit multifaceted drug/alcohol outpatient agency that is located in Woodbury, Gloucester County New Jersey. SODAT as a whole has several keep sources but for the Camden site the funding sources are, South Jersey Initiative, (SJI) which basically funds for adolescents thirteen to xx four years of age.
